Summary
in 1952, Dwight D Eisenhower was elected as the President of the United Sates. He replaced Harry Truman. With Richard Nixon as his Vice-President, he promised to end the KoreanWar. He created a series of doctrine of containment around the world. These doctrines included OAS in Latin America, ANZUS in New Zealand and Australia, SEATO in Southeast Asia, and CENTO in the Middle East.
