Summary
Biggest advancement in industry in a long time, the assembly line. The combustion engine brought around a new scale of cars. This also brought along the assembly line, a conveyor belt system where people were doing their job along a line until everyone has built the car and the car is produced in full at the end of the line. Henry ford wanted a "Car in every garage" by the end of the decade. Other car companies spring up around this time as well, all based out of Detroit. Detroit becomes known as MoTown.
