Summary
US Presidents have used media to communicate their ideas and announcements. From speeches, to newspapers, to radio and TV. Roosevelt used the radio to speak once a week from the White House next to the fire. He would address the entire country to communicate that he was doing things to ease their discomfort. This was to assure the country that the president was making efforts to improve the country.
