Summary
The New Deal was something that Roosevelt thought would get people working again, and help improve the rough economy. It consisted of various Make Work projects designed to get people working and making money again. In this sense, money would be put back into the economy and people would start buying things again, hopefully restoring the system. John Maynard Keynes came up with the idea of creating jobs like building interstates, Hoover Dam etc that would put people to work for something useful for the economy. This plan was created in the first 100 days of FDR's administration.
