Summary
Stresemann took control of Weimar Germany. He was co-laureate for the Nobel Peace Prize when it was won in 1926 for the Kellogg-Briand Pact. Believing they had prevented a war, the peace prize was awarded to him and Briand. He was chancellor for 102 days and was Foreign Minister during the Weimar Republic. He brought in the Retenmark to try and rectify the quick down-falling German economy. He tried to pay reparations with the help of the Dawes Plan. He would die at the age of 51
